TISI Sangam is proud to announce a new partnership with the Australian Government’s Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade (DFAT) and the Ministry of Women, Children and Poverty Alleviation which will recruit 112 personnel in the area of caregivers, cooks, laundry, and housekeeping for aged care facilities in Fiji. The partnership will support the 112 positions for a period of 12 weeks and is a first of its kind to support aged care facilities.
The DFAT funding of F$327,000 for this project will be administered through TISI Sangam to address the recruitment, accountability, and transparency aspects. This project will boost critical support staff and client health and wellness in 8 existing aged care facilities around the country.
This has given an opportunity for employment to many Fijians who have received training from institutes such as the APTC, TISI Sangam College of Nursing, USP, and other similar training institutions and are currently unemployed.
