The Fiji Higher Education Commission (HECF) signed a capital grant agreement today to support the construction of a state-of-the-art lecture theatre at the TISI Sangam Nursing School. TISI Sangam Fiji National President, Hon. Praveen Bala, and National Secretary Gyneshwar Rao represented the organization at the signing, which took place at the HECF Boardroom.
This grant is part of TISI Sangam’s ongoing commitment to enhancing higher education in Fiji. The new lecture theatre, designed to meet modern educational standards, is slated for completion by June 2025.
Mr. Steve Chand, Chair of the Higher Education Commission, commended TISI Sangam for its valuable contributions to Fiji’s higher education sector. He also highlighted the organization’s responsibility to ensure the proper utilization of the funds to maximize the impact of the project. Mr. Chand signed the agreement on behalf of the HECF, with Mr. Paula Manumanunitoga, Commissioner, also present to witness the signing.
